As someone who prefers to have a clean notification center and also wants to offer the needed safeguard to the personal alerts to keep them away from the prying eyes, I have found the new count notification view very helpful. If there is any improvement that I would like to see in this feature, it has to be the ability to hide the alerts up to a certain time. For instance, it would be better to have the option to conceal the notifications for one hour or custom time – pretty much in the tune of Do Not Disturb aka DND mode. While it’s quite simple to show notifications count temporarily using the pinch gesture, it reverts to the default view when a new alert shows up. And that kind of defeats the main purpose.
